For over 25 years the Hill of Truth Festival (HOT) has been known around the region as a 12 hour party in the woods on mountain bikes. Clinch Valley Trail Alliance (CVTA) is excited to announce the dates for the 2024 12 Hours of the Hill of Truth Mountain Bike Race and HOT Trot trail running race.

 

​Let's keep the party rolling with a fresh course including at least one trail that's never been featured on a course, new Party Zone location, music all day, and a bonfire and DJ dance party after dark. There will be some special prizes awarded for the best costume or outfit (because some of y'all come dressed to slay everyday), and best campsite decoration because everyone loves a festive camp/pit/hang out spot. The kids race is always a crowd favorite, and this year we'll have the race at the new Little Skittle kid-sized trail system.

Camping will be open (free!) Friday and Saturday nights.

 

On Sunday, we'll have the HOT Trot trail running race, it's open to runners, walkers with and without dogs, and anyone who'd like to come out and help remove trail markers. Come out and support the runners, with CVTA offering coffee and breakfast for campers and supporters alike. We're looking forward to a fun-filled weekend with friends who love Haw Ridge and want to help support CVTA's efforts to complete Phase Two and Phase Three of the Haw Ridge Project over the next two years.
