The Hill of Truth Festival takes place on October 2nd and 3rd, 2021 at the Haw Ridge Camp Ground just down from the CVTA HQ on Old Edgemoor Road. On Saturday October 2nd, the 12 Hours of the Hill of Truth mountain bike race will start at 10 a.m. and continue through to 10 p.m. Sunday morning, October 3rd, a trail running race, the HOT Trot, will take place on the same course as the mountain biking race at 10 a.m. Haw Ridge is home to a number of trail running races throughout the year and we appreciate all of our trail users. If you don't want to run, you can walk or bring the dog for a hike.
There will be a kids races around the Campground (event area) starting at 3 p.m. on Saturday. Kids participating in the kids race must sign a waiver at the start/finish tent.

Mini-horse kissing booth on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. to support Faith-N-Friends, a non-profit bringing horses and people together.
Skills area at CVTA HQ for folks to test their riding ability throughout the event.
E-bike category with $200 cash prizes to shake things up!
The campfire will begin around dusk at the camp ground and participants are invited to camp out Friday before the race as well as on Saturday evening. If camping isn't for you, DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Oak Ridge is offering a discounted rate via this link and Hampton Inn Oak Ridge is offering the AAA discount.
Local bike shops, breweries, and other partners are offering amazing prizes for top finishers in solo and team categories as well as the always popular sunset premium for the racer finishing a lap closest to sunset.
